Role Description
The University of Engineering and Management is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Responsibilities include developing and delivering high-quality course content, conducting impactful research in IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain, guiding students on academic and research projects, and contributing to curriculum development. Active participation in academic and professional activities, such as seminars and conferences, is also expected.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer Science and Programming concepts, including industry best practices and tools.
- Strong knowledge of specialized areas such as Cybersecurity, IoT, and Blockchain technologies.
- Experience in developing and updating Curricula that align with current industry trends and academic standards.
- Understanding of Data Science or related studies and its application in an academic and research-oriented environment.
- Prior teaching experience at the university level and a proven track record in research and publications.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desirable. M.E. / M.Tech is the essential qualification for the post of Asst. Professor.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and collaborative abilities to inspire and guide students and colleagues.
