Role Description The Area Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for driving business growth and adoption of 4baseCare’s precision oncology solutions within the assigned territory. The individual will manage relationships with oncologists, hospital administrators, diagnostic partners, and other healthcare stakeholders, ensuring effective promotion and utilization of genomic tests and platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include territory planning, achieving sales and outreach targets, conducting product presentations and training sessions, and coordinating with internal clinical, operations, and marketing teams to address customer needs. The role also involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, supporting key account management, and participating in conferences and events to strengthen brand presence. The Area Business Manager will maintain accurate reporting and forecasts while adhering to ethical standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in healthcare or life sciences sales, preferably in oncology, diagnostics, or medical technology.
- Proven ability in territory management, business development, and key account handling within a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage clinicians, administrators, and decision-makers.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret market data, customer feedback, and clinical information for strategic decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and marketing teams and work independently to meet targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, biotechnology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent in marketing or healthcare management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with oncology workflows, diagnostic pathways, and precision medicine concepts is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within the territory and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
