Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts and detailed designs for building projects aligned with CCS Group’s product portfolio and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and specifications, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The role involves reviewing structural and material options, integrating CCS Group’s aluminium, zinc, and roofing solutions into designs, and supporting estimation and technical documentation. The Architect will also participate in site visits, monitor design implementation, address design-related issues during construction, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate requirements into functional, safe, and aesthetically sound building solutions.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination with cross-functional teams, timeline management, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Integration between design, structural systems, and construction materials, ensuring compatibility with CCS Group’s panel and roofing products.
- Familiarity with Software Development concepts or related technical tools helpful for design automation, BIM, or digital collaboration platforms.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and local regulations relevant to the Greater Kolkata and West Bengal region.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prior experience in industrial, commercial, or residential construction projects is preferred.
