Role Description The Assistant Manager – HR role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations, including employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, documentation, and HR records maintenance. The Assistant Manager – HR will support HR policy implementation, administer employee benefits, and assist with performance management and personnel issues. Responsibilities also include coordinating recruitment processes, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and company guidelines. The role requires regular collaboration with management and employees to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience in core HR operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies, including drafting, updating, and implementing HR guidelines and procedures.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Employee Benefits, including administration of compensation, benefits programs, and leave management.
- Candidates should possess Personnel Management skills, including handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance support.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with HRMS or HR software, and familiarity with Indian labor laws and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
