Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, focused on after-shipment activities within freight forwarding operations. The role involves monitoring shipments post-dispatch, coordinating with carriers and overseas offices, and ensuring accurate documentation and status updates until final delivery. Responsibilities include handling customer queries, resolving shipment issues, tracking freight movements, and preparing reports related to export and transportation activities. The position also requires close collaboration with internal operations, billing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth end-to-end shipment handling and high service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation for managing end-to-end shipment processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forwarding and Export for handling documentation, compliance, and coordination of international shipments.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills for managing client communication, issue resolution, and service follow-up.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding operations, preferably in an after-shipment or operations support role.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Familiarity with shipping documents, Incoterms, export procedures, and basic customs and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and shipment-tracking or logistics software; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
