Role Description The Holidays Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, responsible for designing and managing holiday packages for domestic and international clients. In this role, the specialist will consult with customers to understand their travel preferences, budget, and schedule, then recommend suitable itineraries, accommodations, and transportation options. Daily responsibilities include coordinating bookings with vendors, confirming reservations, handling changes or cancellations, and ensuring accurate documentation of all travel arrangements. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, providing pre- and post-travel support, and working closely with internal teams to maintain up-to-date product information and pricing. The Holidays Specialist will also monitor market trends and seasonal travel patterns to suggest new package ideas and improve existing offerings.
Qualifications
- Experience in holiday planning, travel consulting, or tour operations, preferably within transportation or travel services.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain options and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Attention to detail in managing bookings, itineraries, and documentation, with good organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems, reservation platforms, or related software; proficiency in standard office applications.
- Knowledge of popular domestic and international travel destinations and basic understanding of visas, travel insurance, and related requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate with team members, and adapt to a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role and fluency in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
