Role Description The Admission Counselor (Fresher) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune District. The counselor will guide prospective learners through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, explaining course offerings, and providing accurate information about program structure, fees, and career outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting and counseling walk-ins and phone or online leads, maintaining records of interactions, and following up with interested candidates to support enrollment decisions. The role also involves coordinating with training and operations teams, participating in admission drives or events, and delivering a positive, professional experience to all prospective learners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with prospective learners and families.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to present programs clearly, address objections, and support enrollment targets in an ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related awareness or interest to understand academic programs and advise learners on suitable course options.
- Good command of English and local languages, both spoken and written.
- Basic computer literacy, including use of email, spreadsheets, and CRM or admission management tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune District, manage multiple inquiries, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Any graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Arts, Commerce, Science, Management) is preferred; prior internship or project experience in counseling or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
