Company Description AIMRA specializes in guiding aspiring scholars through the complete doctoral journey, from understanding PhD admission requirements to choosing appropriate research directions and preparing for entrance interviews. The organization provides structured support in PhD admission counseling, research topic and proposal guidance, university selection strategies, and entrance preparation. AIMRA also conducts webinars, discussion sessions, and awareness programs to help working professionals pursue a PhD without disrupting their careers. With a focus on individualized one-to-one PhD roadmap sessions, AIMRA aims to make doctoral education more accessible, informed, and well planned for candidates from diverse professional backgrounds.
Role Description The Admission Counsellor will provide end-to-end guidance to prospective PhD candidates, including explaining admission processes, program requirements, and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions, supporting candidates in university and program selection, and advising on research topic alignment with academic and career goals. The role involves regular phone, email, and in-person communication with prospective scholars, maintaining accurate records of inquiries and applications, and following up to ensure smooth progression through each stage of the admission journey. The Admission Counsellor will also assist in organizing and participating in webinars, awareness programs, and small group discussions, while collaborating with the team to improve counseling materials and processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to conduct effective one-to-one and group counseling sessions.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond promptly, professionally, and empathetically to inquiries and concerns from prospective PhD scholars.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to guide candidates through decision-making, explain program benefits, and support enrollment in AIMRA’s counseling services.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills and an understanding of academic structures, preferably with experience in higher education or student advising.
