Role Description The Admission Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi. The role involves guiding prospective learners through the admissions process for AAFM® (India) programs, including explaining course offerings, eligibility, and career outcomes. The Admission Counsellor will respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, maintain accurate records of leads, and follow up to support applicants in completing their enrollment. Day-to-day work includes conducting counseling sessions, participating in education fairs or institutional visits, coordinating with academic and operations teams, and meeting defined admission and outreach targets. The role also requires providing a positive, informed experience to candidates, ensuring they feel supported at every stage of their decision-making and admission journey.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage with diverse learners, families, and institutional partners.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries professionally, resolve concerns, and provide a supportive admissions experience.
- Sales skills to convert qualified leads into enrollments, meet admissions targets, and present program benefits persuasively yet ethically.
- Education-related experience or understanding of academic programs, especially in finance, management, or professional certification, to guide applicants accurately.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Counseling, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic office software to manage leads and maintain admission records.
- Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with academic, marketing, and operations teams.
- Comfort communicating in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, student advisory services, or education sales is preferred but not mandatory
