Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Admission Counsellor with a strong understanding of the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) industry and finance education. The candidate will counsel aspiring finance professionals, bankers, investment advisors, wealth managers, insurance professionals, and fresh graduates regarding internationally recognized financial certification programs offered by AAFM® (India).
The Admission Counsellor will guide prospective learners through the complete admission journey, explain certification pathways, career opportunities in the financial sector, and assist candidates in selecting programs aligned with their professional goals.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective candidates from the BFSI industry, finance graduates, MBA students, CA/CMA/CS aspirants, and working professionals regarding AAFM® certification programs.
- Explain the value, curriculum, eligibility criteria, career benefits, and global recognition of professional certifications such as CWM®, CTEP®, and AFA®.
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, virtual meetings, and face-to-face counselling.
- Assess candidates' educational background, career aspirations, and industry experience to recommend the most suitable certification.
- Build and maintain relationships with professionals working in banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, mutual funds, wealth management firms, stock broking companies, and fintech organizations.
- Maintain accurate lead records and counselling updates in CRM software.
- Follow up with prospective candidates to support them through documentation, fee payment, and enrollment.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets while ensuring ethical counselling practices.
- Coordinate with the Academic, Operations, and Marketing teams for smooth admission processing.
- Participate in webinars, finance seminars, career fairs, corporate outreach activities, and institutional engagement programs.
- Stay updated with developments in financial markets, wealth management, investment advisory, banking regulations, and professional certification trends.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sector.
- Knowledge of financial products including investments, mutual funds, insurance, wealth management, financial planning, and capital markets.
- Excellent counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple and professional manner.
- Strong consultative sales and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience using CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve admission and revenue targets.
- Excellent follow-up and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic, corporate, and marketing teams.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory; additional regional languages are an advantage.
