Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Education Counselor role based in Delhi. The Education Counselor will guide students through academic and career options at UG and PG levels, helping based on their interests, qualifications, and long-term goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, organizing information seminars, explaining admission processes, entrance requirements, and scholarship opportunities, and supporting students with application documentation. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up with prospective learners, coordinating with internal teams for admissions and travel, and providing ongoing support until successful enrollment. The Education Counselor will also help promote the organization’s services through clear communication, professional interactions, and a student-centric approach.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge to guide students on courses, universities, and study destinations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Student Counseling to support learners’ academic decisions and address their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students align their education choices with realistic career paths and future opportunities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication, active listening, and presentation abilities.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field are preferred.
- Previous experience in education counseling, overseas education, or admissions advisory is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple student cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and maintain a student-first, ethical counseling approach.
