Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining records. The role involves handling phone calls, directing inquiries, greeting visitors, and supporting executive leadership with day-to-day administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant will prepare basic documents and reports, assist with correspondence, coordinate office supplies and logistics, and ensure smooth office operations in collaboration with other team members. The role requires a detail-oriented, organized professional who can manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document organization.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for handling calls, managing inquiries, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, record keeping, and basic documentation.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office or similar), email, and digital calendars.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work accurately under time constraints, and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to support multiple team members.
- Prior experience in an administrative or office support role; experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- Relevant educational background, such as a diploma or degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field.
