About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, GST filings, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with GST and TDS compliance, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Perform month-end closing activities and ensure timely closure of books.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports for management review.
- Record and reconcile bank transactions, ledgers, and vendor accounts.
- Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns within statutory timelines.
- Manage GST reconciliations and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Prepare and file TDS returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in return filing and maintain proper documentation of financial records.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders during audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documents in an organized manner.
- Support the Finance team with reports, analysis, and other accounting activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B), TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Experience in month-end closing and MIS reporting.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, or other accounting ERP software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
