About the Role
Did you recently graduate and feel passionate about mentoring the next generation of NEET/JEE aspirants? We are looking for energetic, empathetic, and organized Academic Mentors to live on-site and join our Hybrid Centre team in Coimbatore!
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-Site Student Care & Mentorship
Hostel & Study Environment: Conduct morning and evening walkthroughs in the residential facility to ensure a disciplined, peaceful, and highly motivating study atmosphere.
Student Well-being: Stay closely connected with students' daily routines, emotional health, and physical well-being to help them adjust smoothly to living and studying away from home.
2. Academic Support & Doubt Solving
Doubt Clearance: Help students clear daily doubts in Class 11–12 topics (Board, NEET, or JEE prep) during dedicated afternoon and evening study hours.
Study Planning: Guide students on how to balance Board theory with competitive exam MCQ practice (focusing on speed and accuracy).
Remedial Guidance: Spot weak areas in weekly tests (DPPs/CWEs) and build simple, actionable improvement plans for struggling students.
3. Student Progress Tracking & Parent Interaction
Batch Leadership: Mentor a dedicated batch of 35+ resident students, holding regular 1-on-1 check-ins to set goals and keep them motivated.
Parent Communication: Reach out to parents bi-weekly with clear, supportive updates on their child’s academic progress, attendance, and health
Basic Record Keeping: Maintain simple digital logs of daily study hours, test scores, and student feedback.
Requirements:
- Language: Fluent in Tamil (Native speaker preferred) to build strong rapport with students and communicate easily with local parents. Good working knowledge of English.
- Academic Background: Strong grasp of Class 11 & 12 Science/Math concepts (CBSE/State Board level) and familiarity with NEET/JEE formats.
- Living Preference: Willingness and enthusiasm to reside full-time on campus in our Coimbatore residential facility.
- Personality: Warm, patient, empathetic, and firm when maintaining study discipline.
