Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and committed Faculty – Pathology to deliver high-quality medical education, mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, and support the department's academic, research, and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the educational objectives, course objectives, competencies, instructional methods, and evaluation systems for the courses you will be instructing
- Deliver assigned courses and facilitate group discussions according to the provided course syllabi and class schedules
- Participate in updating and maintaining the relevance of program curricula
- Contribute to the creation of innovative instructional materials
- Guide students to ensure their successful course completion
- Stay updated on advancements and trends in academic discipline
- Collaborate on committee work and assist with administrative tasks within the department and University
- Attend departmental, college, and university meetings, as well as in-service workshops and graduation events
- Prepare and upload lecture materials to the Learning Management System
- Provide timely academic mentoring and advising to assigned students.
- Fulfill the Faculty Development Program (FDP) as outlined by the University
Qualifications
- MD Pathology
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline may be considered where applicable as per institutional requirements
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a recognized medical institution
