Role Description The Centre Head at Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital in Lucknow will oversee the daily operations of the eye care center, ensuring high-quality patient services and efficient clinical and administrative workflows. This full-time, on-site role includes leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with ophthalmologists and support staff, managing patient flow, and optimizing resource utilization. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, implementing standard operating procedures, and ensuring compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory guidelines. The Centre Head will collaborate with the corporate office on strategic initiatives, support local marketing and community outreach activities, and drive continuous improvement in patient experience and operational efficiency. Budget planning, revenue monitoring, and fostering a culture of accountability, ethical practice, and patient-centric care are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Proficiency in healthcare operations management, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Experience in patient service management, with a focus on patient satisfaction, service quality, and handling escalations professionally.
- Sound understanding of healthcare compliance, quality standards, and safety protocols, preferably in an ophthalmology or specialty care environment.
- Competence in business oversight, including budgeting, revenue tracking, basic financial analysis, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills for effective coordination with medical staff, patients, and external partners.
- Ability to support local marketing initiatives, community outreach, and brand-building activities to grow the center’s presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in Hospital or Healthcare Management is an advantage.
