We are looking for an experienced
Test Lead - Workday Financials to join a large-scale Finance Transformation programme involving the implementation of
Workday Financials, legacy system replacement, data migration, and multiple internal/third-party integrations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Own and define the overall
Test Strategy and Test Plan for the Workday Financials implementation.
Lead and coordinate testing teams across
SIT, Regression, Data Migration and UAT.
Design and oversee
end-to-end testing across Workday Financials and integrated systems.
Lead testing of
EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs and interfaces.
Manage regression testing across Finance processes including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets
Banking
Procurement
Expenses
Lead
data migration testing, reconciliation, sampling and discrepancy analysis.
Own defect management including
triage, prioritization, tracking, retesting and closure.
Lead SIT cycles and ensure complete end-to-end business process coverage.
Coordinate and lead
UAT with Finance business users and process owners.
Identify and communicate testing risks, impacts, blockers and dependencies to programme leadership.
Work closely with Workday functional consultants, developers, integration teams and third-party vendors.
🔹 Required Skills
Proven experience as a
Test Lead / QA Lead on ERP or Finance transformation programmes.
Hands-on
Workday Financials testing experience.
Strong experience in
SIT, UAT, Regression and Data Migration Testing.
Experience defining
Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Scenarios.
Experience leading and coordinating testing teams.
Strong experience with
integration and multi-system testing.
Experience with
data validation, reconciliation and discrepancy analysis.
Strong defect management experience using
JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Ability to analyze
JSON and XML data structures.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work with both technical teams and Finance/business stakeholders.
