Role Overview
HBM is looking for an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead the pan-India sales strategy for its Neuro-Intervention portfolio. The role will be responsible for revenue growth, team leadership, market expansion, key account development, distributor management, and building a scalable sales organisation.
Key Responsibilties
- Own national sales targets, revenue growth, forecasting, and business planning.
- Lead, coach, and review Regional and Area Sales Managers across India.
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales and market expansion plans.
- Build relationships with neuro-interventionists, neurosurgeons, KOLs, hospital leadership, and procurement teams.
- Drive product adoption, new account development, and conversion of key hospitals.
- Manage distributors and channel partners, including appointment, performance, inventory, and secondary sales.
- Ensure effective product launches, clinical programmes, workshops, and customer training.
- Monitor competition, pricing, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Work closely with marketing, clinical, supply chain, finance, and operations teams.
- Ensure CRM discipline, accurate forecasts, timely collections, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Recruit and develop a high-performing national sales team.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in medical device sales, including significant team leadership experience.
- Experience in neuro-intervention, neurovascular, or related high-value medical devices preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving national or multi-regional sales targets.
- Strong relationships with leading hospitals, doctors, distributors, and procurement stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, commercial planning, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
