We are a leading global medtech organization with a presence across more than 120 markets, currently looking to appoint a Senior Director, ERP Platforms based in Bangalore.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the global operation and evolution of the organization's ERP platform landscape. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the operating model, build and develop a new leadership team, and play a key role in driving collaboration and strategic alignment across the broader Group Functions organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the global ERP platform environment, overseeing areas including platform operations, development, testing, and ongoing service delivery.
- Ensure ERP platforms operate reliably, securely, and in line with applicable regulatory, compliance, and quality standards.
- Establish a robust support model with effective processes for incident resolution, problem management, and controlled platform changes.
- Define and drive the ERP platform strategy in close partnership with functional leaders, enterprise architecture, and other key stakeholders.
- Support current and future transformation initiatives, ensuring the ERP platform landscape continues to meet evolving business requirements.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing ERP Platform leadership team, creating an environment that encourages accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex operational and organizational matters, providing direction and supporting leaders and teams in resolving critical system challenges.
- Own the sub-function budget and ensure resources are deployed effectively, balancing service quality, operational resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Lead strategic relationships with technology partners, system vendors, and external consultancies, working closely with Procurement to optimize commercial agreements and long-term value.
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience in ERP platforms, IT infrastructure, or a related technology environment, including several years in a leadership capacity. Experience leading other leaders is highly valued.
- Strong track record in ERP platform operations within a global organization, with experience across platform operations, development, and testing environments.
- Proven experience managing budgets and external vendors, including system solution providers and technology consultancies, with the ability to lead commercial negotiations and optimize costs.
- Good understanding of change management, problem resolution, and operational governance, ideally within an environment with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global functions and engage with senior functional and architecture leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead teams, including coaching and guiding leaders and employees while fostering a culture grounded in strong values and behaviors.
- A strategic yet hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to navigate complexity, drive decisions, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
