We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career team at Mercer a business of Marsh. This role will be based in Bangalore / Hyderabad. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Associate Director – Compensation Consulting (F) GCC Industry
The current opening is for the Industry Lead role for the GCC industry. You will be a part of a high grown environment in one of the top consulting firms globally, leaning into Total Rewards Strategy Consulting i.e. design, execution and sometimes deployment.

We will count on you to :
- The role’s key responsibilities will be to look at tapping into newer GCCs coming into India and looking at building business opportunities.
- The role will also be responsible client engagement, account farming for all key and strategic clients of Mercer and delivery / review of rewards assignments.
- Be an industry segment leader, building a POV on the industry and sharing the same for client connects.
- You would act as the business owner of the portfolio and will be responsible for end-to-end ownership.
- Managing the 6 year old Rewards Forum of GCC with top 25 clients of Mercer in the industry. The role holder is expected to manager a team of 4-5 consultants. The growth and POV creation for the industry will be an important responsibility of this role as well as generation of revenue through new and existing clients (70-30 split of existing clients and new clients) Portfolio of size XXX USD will need to be managed and grown.
- Developing strong working relationships with key people in the client organizations and advising them on Total Rewards strategy in environment of set up to scale of GCC using Mercer’s home grown solution for the industry.
- Be the client POC for all key and strategic accounts of Mercer; Proactively engage with key clients (existing and prospective) to identify opportunities and form long-term sustainable relationships with them and partnering with internal.
What you need to have:
- 12 + years of overall experience for level F with at least 6+ years of relevant work experience in compensation domain (preferable)
- HR / C&B Consulting experience
- Team handling experience
