Role Description The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and producing detailed design documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing sketches and 3D models, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and ensuring designs meet local building codes and regulations. The role also involves site visits, monitoring project progress, and supporting construction teams with clarifications and revisions as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Saraswati Vihar, requiring close collaboration with the internal design team and regular interaction with external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural design and spatial planning skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, buildable concepts.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools for drafting, modeling, and visualization.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and local regulations relevant to projects in New Delhi and surrounding areas.
- Ability to prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation for contractors and consultants.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution; registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an architectural or planning firm, with portfolio examples demonstrating design capability and technical proficiency.
