Role Description
We are looking for a Student Growth & Engagement Associate who understands students and knows how to earn their attention, build trust, and create meaningful engagement. You'll work closely with the Founder to help expand Elevate Careers' reach among students and early-career professionals across India.This is not just about generating leads. It's about understanding students, finding the right ways to reach them, creating genuine engagement, and helping them discover career support that's relevant to where they are.
What You'll Work On
- Drive student outreach and engagement across relevant channels and communities.
- Build relationships with colleges, placement teams, student clubs, and student communities.
- Help students discover Elevate's career-readiness resources and services.
- Support career-readiness workshops, sessions, and student initiatives.
- Identify and experiment with new student acquisition and engagement channels.
- Nurture interested students and follow up meaningfully.
- Explore partnerships and community-led growth opportunities.
- Gather student feedback and turn those insights into better outreach and engagement strategies.
This is an early-stage, high-ownership role. You'll have room to experiment with ideas and help shape how Elevate Careers reaches and engages students at scale.
Location: Remote | Open across India
Compensation: Fixed compensation + performance incentives, based on experience and fit.
Who We're Looking For
We're more interested in how you think, communicate, and connect with students than in a particular job title or number of years of experience.
You could be a strong fit if you:
- Have experience interacting with college students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals.
- Understand how to engage students and build trust without being overly sales-driven.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Are comfortable with LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and community-led outreach.
- Can independently identify colleges, communities, and potential partnerships.
- Are proactive, resourceful, and willing to experiment with different growth approaches.
- Can take ownership rather than waiting for a predefined list of leads.
- Think about outcomes, not just outreach volume.
Experience in EdTech, college placements/TPO, career services, student engagement, student success, employability/skilling, early-career recruitment, campus relations, or student communities would be valuable, but isn't mandatory.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely understands students and is excited about helping more of them make better career decisions.
