About us
Truluster is the US wholesale arm of Alpesh Gems, a vertically integrated fine jewelry manufacturer. We cast, set, and finish 14K gold in-house, and sell wholesale to independent retail jewelers across the United States, with limited presence in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and the Netherlands.
You'd be based at our Mumbai office, working with the team here and with sales in Los Angeles.
The role
Three things keep our wholesale accounts buying: a website that's current, an Instagram that makes buyers want the pieces, and someone who stays in touch with them.
That's the job.
What you'll do
- Instagram — create the content. Shoot and edit our pieces, post consistently, and build a feed that looks like the jewelry deserves.
- Client relations — share new pieces with our accounts and follow up. When something new comes off the bench, our buyers should hear about it from you.
What we're looking for
- Genuine interest in fine jewelry, and ideally some experience around it
- Comfortable creating content wearing the pieces — rings and bracelets on hand, necklaces at the neck, earrings at the ear. A good part of this role is being in front of the camera, and the jewelry has to be worn to be sold.
- An eye for how jewelry photographs
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable writing to customers in English
