Our Bangalore based unit, DG Sheetmetal Services Pvt. Ltd., operates as our dedicated backend support center, providing drafting, detailing, and production ready documentation to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional service across all projects.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Design Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for converting customer drawings into detailed drawings using our in-house software, DG Draw. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in processing assigned customer orders with accuracy, logistical planning, and turret programming.
Responsibilities:
• Convert customer drawings into 2D detailed drawings using in-house software, DG Draw.
• Estimation in ERP for the custom job.
• Process assigned customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Plan logistics to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Program turrets as required for manufacturing processes.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Basic knowledge of designing and engineering calculations.
• Analyzing engineering drawings and redesigning in AutoCAD will be an add-on.
• Good communication skills.
Working Hours:
• Shift is from 3 AM to 12.30 PM.
• Five working days per week.
• Follow Australian State holidays.
