Role Description This full-time Sales & Designer role is an on-site position based in Whitefield, Bengaluru. The individual in this role will meet with walk-in and scheduled clients, understand their requirements, and present tailored interior design concepts for various spaces, including kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Day-to-day tasks include preparing layout options, mood boards, and basic drawings, explaining material and product choices, and providing accurate quotations. The role also involves guiding clients through showroom displays, following up on leads, negotiating and closing sales, and coordinating with design, installation, and vendor teams to ensure timely and satisfactory project delivery. The person in this position is expected to maintain detailed records of client interactions, support after-sales service when needed, and contribute to showroom merchandising and local promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design skills to create practical, attractive layouts and propose suitable materials and finishes.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, conduct product presentations, negotiate, and close deals in a retail or showroom environment.
- Candidates should ideally have proficiency with basic design tools or software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and strong attention to detail.
- Candidates should have the ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple client projects, and collaborate in a team-oriented setting.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in interior or modular kitchen sales, will be considered an advantage.
