FyneHand has been mandated to hire a Head – Enterprise Applications for a leading player in the banking industry. The job location is Mumbai.
Core Expertise: Core Banking (Finacle)
* We are specifically seeking candidates with prior experience in the banking sector. Please note that candidates without relevant banking-sector experience will not be considered for this position.
Role Summary: Lead the technology function for critical banking applications, driving platform stability, digital transformation, application delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage Core Banking and enterprise applications, including lending, wealth, and HR platforms
- Drive technology roadmap, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead application delivery, upgrades, releases, and production support
- Ensure platform availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness
- Manage regulatory compliance, audits, and technology risk
- Oversee vendor governance and stakeholder management
- Lead and mentor large technology teams
Desired candidate:
- 18+ years of IT experience in Banking or Financial Services
- Strong experience managing Core Banking platforms (Finacle preferred)
- Exposure to lending and enterprise applications
- Experience leading large-scale technology transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and team management skills
Education: Engineering graduate; MBA preferred
Location: Mumbai
