Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Vadodara. The Field Services Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of UPS systems, battery backup solutions, power stabilizers, and thermal management equipment at customer locations. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves providing on-site technical support, documenting service activities, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams for spare parts, upgrades, and follow-up actions. The engineer will interact directly with customers to explain findings, advise on best practices, and maintain a high standard of service quality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Field Service skills, including on-site installation, commissioning, and hands-on equipment servicing.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose faults, resolve complex issues, and support system performance in real time.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to plan, execute, and document routine inspections, testing, and upkeep of critical power and cooling systems.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain professional relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Experience with UPS systems, battery backup, power conditioning, and thermal management solutions is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, work in mission-critical environments, and respond to service calls as needed.
