Frontend Developer Intern (React / Next.js)
We're an early-stage, bootstrapped EdTech startup building an AI-powered learning platform.
This isn't an "implement the Figma file" role. There is no Figma file. You'd own how the product looks and how it's built.
The details
- Duration: 3 months, extendable
- Stipend: ₹10,000 per month
- Location: Fully remote
- Full-time conversion possible based on performance
What you'll do
- Build the product in Next.js and React
- Make the interface decisions — layout, flow, hierarchy, what a screen should even contain
- Design the UI/UX yourself: user flows, wireframes, and the visual design, not just the code
- Turn rough product direction into shipped screens without a spec for every detail
- Build data-heavy UI: dashboards, charts, progress states, quiz interactions
- Use AI coding agents to ship faster than a normal frontend dev would
What we're looking for
- React and Next.js. TypeScript, Tailwind, component architecture, state management.
- UI/UX ability. You can take a problem — "students need to see which topics they've mastered" — and work out what that screen should be. Wireframe it, design it, build it. You don't need to be a trained designer, but you need taste and the willingness to own the design decisions.
- You use coding AI agents properly. Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Copilot — whatever you use, we want to hear how you actually work with it: how you prompt, how you review what it writes, where you don't trust it. This is core to the role, not a bonus. Anyone can generate code; we care that you can tell good output from bad.
- Things you've actually built. Side projects and college projects count.
- Comfortable with ambiguity — you'll often get a goal, not a spec.
Any year, any college, any background. We care about what you've built.
Nice to have
- Motion and interaction work (Framer Motion or similar)
- Video players or media-heavy interfaces
- Having built and shipped something end-to-end on your own
