Role Description This remote Frontend Developer Intern role focuses on building and improving user-facing web interfaces for DevToDesk’s learning and career platforms. The intern will collaborate with mentors and development team members to implement responsive layouts, optimize user experience, and ensure consistent design across devices. Daily tasks include writing clean, maintainable frontend code, integrating UI components with backend services, debugging and testing features, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves learning and applying modern web technologies, following best practices, and contributing to small project modules under guidance. This is an internship role designed to help emerging developers gain practical, industry-relevant experience in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design, with the ability to create user-friendly, mobile-ready interfaces.
- Basic understanding of Web Development and Software Development principles, including version control and coding best practices.
- Introductory familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts to collaborate effectively with full-stack or backend teams.
- Knowledge of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and exposure to modern frontend frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and in distributed, remote teams.
- Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience.
