The Opportunity
Work directly with the CEO as a high-ownership generalist, converting priorities into structured analysis, coordinated action and reliable follow-through across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the CEO on business planning, strategic initiatives, operating reviews, organization-building priorities and cross-functional problem solving.
- Translate broad management priorities into clear workplans, owners, timelines, decision notes and follow-up mechanisms.
- Prepare management dashboards, financial and operational analyses, board / investor materials, presentations and concise decision-support documents.
- Coordinate with engineering, projects, procurement, business development, finance, HR and external stakeholders to drive closure of high-priority initiatives.
- Track company and project performance against budgets, plans and key milestones; identify exceptions and escalate with fact-based recommendations.
- Support annual operating plans, business cases, market assessments, investment evaluations, financing discussions and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct structured research, synthesize complex information and provide the CEO with clear options, implications and recommended actions.
- Represent the CEO's office with discretion, urgency and professionalism; maintain confidentiality across sensitive commercial and people matters.
- Take ownership of special projects that may not sit neatly within a single function and establish a sustainable operating rhythm for them.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a leading Tier-1 institution, including IITs, NITs or BITS; candidates from comparably rigorous institutions may also be considered.
- Sound understanding of finance, including financial statements, budgeting, cash flows, unit economics and investment evaluation.
- Exceptional analytical ability, structured thinking, written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and presentation tools; ability to build decision-ready analyses independently.
- High ownership, discretion, learning agility and the maturity to work directly with senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization and travel when business requirements demand it.
Preferred Profile
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, founder's / CEO's office, project finance or renewable energy.
- MBA, CA, CFA qualification / progress, or another relevant postgraduate credential.
- Familiarity with solar EPC, infrastructure or project-based businesses.
