Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site full time at the N.K.ARCHITECTS office in Delhi, India. The role involves developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and coordinating design details for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing presentations, and collaborating with architects, consultants, and vendors. The Interior Designer will help create construction drawing sets, review shop drawings, and support FF&E selection and specification to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role also includes attending site visits, client meetings, and assisting in project coordination from design development through completion.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical, well-organized layouts.
- Working knowledge of Architecture and coordination with architectural teams to align interior solutions with overall project design.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings, details, and documentation for execution on site.
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and presentation tools.
- Strong visualization, aesthetic judgment, and attention to detail, with effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and participate in site visits and client interactions as required.
