Job details:
We are looking for a talented UI Designer to create visually stunning, user-friendly interfaces across our digital products. Your primary focus will be designing the visual look, layout, and interactive elements of our web and mobile applications, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.
Core Responsibilities:
Visual Design: Create high-fidelity (hi-fi) mockups, layouts, and visual assets that align with modern design standards.
Design Systems: Build, maintain, and scale a centralized design system and component library (buttons, typography, color palettes) to ensure consistency across all products.
Prototyping: Develop interactive wireframes and prototypes to demonstrate user flows, transitions, and micro-interactions.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with UX Designers to transform wireframes into polished interfaces, and collaborate with Frontend Developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
Responsive Design: Ensure designs adapt flawlessly across various screen sizes and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Tool Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of industry-standard design tools, specifically Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD).
Design Principles: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, grid systems, layout hierarchy, and visual balance.
Platform Guidelines: Deep understanding of platform-specific design languages, such as Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design.
Accessibility (a11y): Knowledge of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to design inclusive interfaces that are usable for everyone.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating real-world examples of digital interface design, visual problem-solving, and clean layouts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and component frameworks (helps when talking to developers).
Experience with motion design or micro-animations.
