Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor / Reels Creator based in Hosur. The role involves planning, editing, and producing short-form video content, including reels for social media platforms, to highlight projects, services, and brand messages. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, applying transitions and effects, performing color correction, adding motion graphics or text overlays, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines. The Video Editor / Reels Creator will collaborate with marketing and project teams to capture relevant visuals, optimize content for various platforms, and maintain a consistent publishing schedule. The role also includes organizing media assets, staying updated on social media video trends, and continuously improving content quality and engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for short-form and long-form content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual output.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics for overlays, titles, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalents).
- Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and best practices for reels and short videos.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work with brand guidelines and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams in Hosur.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
