Role Description The Video Editor role at Finowings® is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. In this role, the Video Editor will edit and assemble recorded raw material into polished video content for training modules, marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and refining footage, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, applying basic color corrections, and incorporating graphics or motion elements to align with brand guidelines and learning objectives. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with content creators, trainers, and marketing team members to interpret scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs. The role also involves managing project files, maintaining an organized media library, and optimizing video formats for different channels.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating engaging visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion design tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Ability to translate educational and marketing objectives into clear visual narratives, with attention to detail and timing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback constructively and meet deadlines.
- Relevant education or certification in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio showcasing prior video work.
