Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will work full time on-site at Rely Studio in Salem. This role involves editing raw video footage into polished explainer videos and branded content, including cutting, sequencing, adding transitions, and refining audio. The Video Editor will collaborate with the creative team to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, and ensure visual consistency with brand guidelines. Daily tasks include color grading, adding motion graphics and titles, integrating client assets, and preparing files for final delivery across digital platforms. The role also includes organizing media assets, maintaining project files, and staying aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in video production and video editing for explainer videos and branded content.
- Candidates should possess skills in video color grading to ensure consistent and professional visual quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
- Candidates should possess skills in graphics to support visual storytelling and brand alignment.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and comfort working with feedback in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work full time on-site in Salem.
- Relevant experience in video editing for marketing, branding, or explainer content; a portfolio or showreel is required.
