Role OverviewWe are seeking an executive-level, visionary Chief Placement Officer (CPO) to lead our career services, corporate relations, and student placement verticals.
As the CPO, you will serve as the strategic bridge between BEAT Educations and the corporate world. You will be responsible for scaling our hiring network, securing high-value corporate partnerships, closing strategic MoUs, and driving 100% placement capability across all certification programs. The ideal candidate brings an extensive corporate network, deep insights into national and international hiring trends, and a proven track record of executive leadership in university/EdTech placements.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Corporate Partnerships & Network Expansion- Design and execute the overarching corporate outreach strategy to expand BEAT Educations’ hiring network across IT, Data, Finance, and Corporate Services sectors.
- Pitch and secure strategic alliances, enterprise-level hiring MoUs, and exclusive talent-sourcing agreements with Fortune 500 companies, MNCs, and high-growth startups.
- Engage directly with CXOs, Vice Presidents of HR, and Heads of Talent Acquisition to position BEAT graduates as the preferred hiring choice.
2. Placement Operations & Target Execution- Lead, mentor, and manage the Corporate Relations and Placement teams to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual placement targets across all campuses/cohorts.
- Oversee end-to-end placement campaigns, drive execution across mega job fairs, on-campus/virtual drives, and exclusive corporate hiring events.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for student shortlisting, recruiter feedback loops, offer letter processing, and post-placement tracking.
3. Curriculum Alignment & Industry Intelligence- Continuously monitor evolving global employment trends, emerging technology skill sets, and compensation benchmarks to advise internal academic teams.
- Partner with course directors to integrate recruiter feedback and market demands directly into the curriculum.
- Lead executive leadership initiatives, including CXO advisory panels, guest lecture series, and industry mentorship programs for students.
4. Brand Positioning & Executive Leadership- Represent BEAT Educations at national higher-education summits, corporate forums, and industry-academia networking events.
- Define and track key placement health metrics, presenting performance reports to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Placement Success Rate: Achieving target placement percentages across all graduating cohorts.
- Corporate Network Growth: Number of new high-tier corporate partners and MoUs signed annually.
- Package Quality: Average and highest compensation packages secured for candidates.
- Recruiter Satisfaction & Retention: Repeat hiring rates from existing corporate partners.
Qualifications & Requirements- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources, Marketing, or a related executive discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 10+ years of total professional experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Placements, Director of Corporate Relations, or Senior Talent Acquisition Manager) within EdTech, higher education, or executive search firms.
- Key Skills:
- Extensive, active network of CXO and HR leadership contacts across IT, Tech, Finance, and Enterprise sectors.
- Strong executive presence, high-level negotiation capabilities, and strategic partnership skills.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, CRM management, and placement dashboard reporting.
- Comprehensive understanding of early-career hiring models, internship pipelines, and corporate upskilling needs.
