Sententia AI is building next-generation Legal AI infrastructure focused on cross-border fund structuring, private equity, venture capital, investment funds, and international corporate transactions.
Our flagship platform is being designed to assist lawyers, fund managers, investment banks, and professional services firms by automating complex legal analysis and generating institution-grade legal outputs. We combine advanced AI systems with expert legal validation to create one of the most accurate legal intelligence platforms in the investment ecosystem.
As an early-stage startup, interns will work directly with the Founders and contribute to building products that solve real-world legal problems.
Role Description
This is not a traditional legal internship.
As a member of the Founder's Office, you will become part of the core team responsible for improving the intelligence of our Legal AI model.
Your primary responsibility will be reviewing AI-generated legal outputs, identifying inaccuracies, validating legal reasoning, and providing corrected outputs that will be used to continuously improve the model.
You will work on real transactional scenarios involving:
- Private Equity
- Venture Capital
- Cross-border Investments
- Foreign Direct Investment
- Fund Structuring
- Corporate Law
- Regulatory Compliance
- International Tax Structuring
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Identify factual, legal and analytical inconsistencies.
- Suggest improved legal reasoning and alternative outputs.
- Conduct legal research on complex cross-border investment issues.
- Assist in building evaluation datasets for AI model improvement.
- Prepare structured feedback for engineering and AI teams.
- Work closely with the founders on product development and legal workflows.
- Contribute ideas towards improving user experience and legal intelligence.
Desired Qualifications
Applicants should ideally possess:
- Final Year (5th Year) law student from a recognised Law university.
- Strong academic background in Corporate Law.
- Previous Internships across Tier-1/2 FDI/ Funds/ Capital Markets Verticals
Knowledge of:
- Company Law
- FEMA
- FDI Policy
- Investment Funds
- M&A
- Private Equity & Venture Capital
- Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- High attention to detail.
- Interest in AI and legal technology.
Prior internships with Tier-1/Tier-2 law firms or transaction advisory teams will be required.
