Role Description The Parent Relations and Outreach Lead is a full-time, on-site role based at Chrysalis High Gunjur campus in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with parents and guardians through regular meetings, feedback sessions, and clear communication. The individual will coordinate parent engagement initiatives, such as orientations, open houses, workshops, and events that support the school’s Cambridge Curriculum and overall learner development. Day-to-day tasks include responding to parent queries, managing communication channels (email, phone, in-person), preparing information materials, and ensuring timely updates on school activities, policies, and learner progress. The role also involves collaborating with academic and administrative teams to align messages, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to parent experience and outreach strategies. The Parent Relations and Outreach Lead will track parent satisfaction, maintain records, and support conflict resolution in a calm, respectful, and solutions-focused manner.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen actively, convey information clearly, and build positive relationships with diverse families.
- Experience in parent relations, customer service, community outreach, or stakeholder management within education or a related service-driven environment.
- Organizational and coordination skills to plan and execute parent events, workshops, and communication campaigns efficiently and on schedule.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (email platforms, messaging tools, spreadsheets, presentation software) for managing communication and maintaining parent records.
- Conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about the Cambridge Curriculum and school processes to provide accurate information and guidance to parents.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional school teams, and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, social sciences, management, or a related field; prior experience in a school or educational organization is an advantage.
