Role Description
- The Business Development Consultant is a part-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for work from home or work from office options.
- This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including researching target markets, generating qualified leads, and nurturing client relationships.
- The Consultant will develop proposals, support business planning, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align offerings with client needs. Day-to-day activities include client outreach, discovery conversations, follow-ups, pipeline tracking, and providing consulting input on how KeyLearning’s services can address client challenges.
- The role involves regular coordination with the leadership and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from opportunity to engagement.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (L&D, HR consulting, or professional services background preferred, not mandatory).
- Strong Consulting and Business Planning capabilities to understand client needs, shape solutions, and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities.
- Prior experience in professional services, learning and development, or coaching/consulting environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and meet agreed targets and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
Compensation
• Performance-based earnings tied to sales — the more you close, the more you earn. No upper limit cap.
• Work-related expenses (travel, client meetings, etc.) reimbursed.
