Job Description:
- Implementation and support on commercial applications – like Process Historian, LIMS, IOT, MES and ERP
- Writing scripts using SQL as per customer need
- Digital and Analog tag configuration
- Creation of special/calculation tags
- Development of operator graphic screens, management reports
- Interfacing MES software with other software applications, like ERP.
- Implementation & Support of the application.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and troubleshoot them.
- Should be able to logically explain the behavior of the application and its config.
- Upgrading of the existing applications in Server & Client machines
- Migration/Upgrade of application required to meet latest OS & Database (SQL& Oracle) upgrades and security changes.
- Application upgrades to make them compatible with Edge and future versions of Google chrome.
- Modifying existing Interface changes with current application and evaluating the applications after the change
- Building new historian servers for new upcoming plants (if any)
- Building interface with new applications with existing and new historian servers
- Creation of new SQL plus reports
- Dashboard requirements as requested by Plants
- New tag calculations in Aspen-Calc covering new reporting requirements from plants.
Educational qualification and experience:
- Experience required: 4-5 years of work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of latest relevant experience in MES in any of the Historians like InfoPlus.21 (IP21)
- Experience in upgrade of IP21.
- A good knowledge of VB Macro programming in Excel would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of VB.net or Excel VBA
- Good understanding of SQL Server & SQL Query.
- Understanding SQL Server Reporting (SSRS) would be an additional advantage.
- An analytical mind with critical thinking skills
- Good written and verbal communication is a must.
