RESPONSIBILITIES.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Upkeep To guarantee safe, effective, and ideal facility operation, an engineer's duties include conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronics systems and equipment. Identifying problems, changing parts, keeping thorough records, guaranteeing safety compliance, and effectively interacting with coworkers and superiors are some of the main duties.
AS 9100 & Audit activities:
Ø Ensure that the day to day activities are done as per the Maintenance procedures, and initiate the necessary change if required and this in accordance with the standard or the customer requirement
Ø Ensure the AS9100 audit (or other) for the Mfg. Eng., by developing and explaining the strategies implemented.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Carrying out regular checks on utilities such as the chemical area, HVAC outdoor area, nitrogen/gas area, air compressor room, and electrical panel rooms.
Ø Maintaining a safe workplace for themselves and their coworkers by following all safety guidelines, rules, and procedures.
Ø Carrying out emergency equipment repairs as well as regular, preventative maintenance.
Ø Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to locate and fix complicated problems. To maintain production continuity, emergency maintenance requests must be promptly addressed and resolved.
Ø Monitoring and maintaining inventories of necessary spare parts and supplies for maintenance activities.
Ø Keeping thorough records of repairs and equipment condition, updating service logs, and recording all maintenance operations.
Ø To manage maintenance needs, key duties also include installing parts, troubleshooting equipment, keeping inventories up to date, and effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.

Technical Knowledge:
Ø Competent in performing maintenance and repair work with both hand and power tools.
Ø Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to team members and manager.
Ø PLC troubleshooting and programming.
Ø Requires a hands-on approach and can involve working independently or as part of a team, reporting to a manager.
