Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Mohh Furniture’s location in Delhi, India, collaborating closely with the design, production, and sales teams to create interior solutions that showcase Mohh’s product range. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts and layouts for residential, commercial, and workplace projects, preparing mood boards, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations, and selecting appropriate furniture, finishes, and materials aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and sustainability values. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their requirements, presenting design proposals, and refining concepts based on feedback to ensure functional, visually compelling spaces. The Interior Designer will coordinate with craftsmen and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs, oversee site measurements and installations, and maintain project timelines and quality standards. Additional tasks may include contributing to showroom/experience center layouts, supporting visual merchandising, and staying current with global design trends relevant to Mohh’s collections.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design fundamentals, including space planning, color theory, materials selection, and furniture layout for residential and commercial environments.
- Proficiency with design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering software, and Adobe Creative Suite or similar applications.
- Demonstrated ability to create concept presentations, mood boards, and detailed drawings that clearly communicate design intent to clients and internal teams.
- Experience collaborating with production teams, vendors, and craftsmen, with an understanding of joinery, fabrication processes, and quality control in furniture and interiors.
- Strong client-facing skills, including requirement gathering, presentation, negotiation, and the ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices, contemporary global design trends, and modern furniture aesthetics that align with Mohh’s brand values.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain documentation and project records.
