Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Delhi, with a minimum expercience of 5 years in India. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare space plans, and create detailed drawings and presentations that align with project requirements and brand standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with architects and project managers, preparing construction and working drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves site visits, measurement and verification, liaison with vendors and contractors, and timely resolution of design-related queries. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, support documentation for approvals, and contribute to maintaining design quality and consistency across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E, including concept development, material selection, and furniture/fixture specification.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts for functionality, circulation, and user experience.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles to coordinate interior solutions with structural and building systems.
- Ability to produce precise Construction Drawings and detailed documentation suitable for execution on site.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and technical design skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Experience with on-site coordination, vendor management, and basic understanding of construction processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
