We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join an early-stage AI company based in India. In this role, you will own and develop core systems such as the agent orchestration engine, multi-tenant platform, or governance layer. The position involves designing and implementing an agent runtime built from scratch, focusing on durable execution and predictable agent behavior across thousands of tenants under partial failure conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the agent loop and durable execution environment using Node.js.
- Build and maintain a governance console using Next.js.
- Ensure agents behave predictably and reliably in a multi-tenant environment with audit trails.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of a robust AI operator system handling workflows across Sales, Marketing, HR, and Legal domains.
Requirements:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in software engineering, preferably with AI or related systems.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and Next.js.
- Experience designing scalable, multi-tenant platforms.
- Ability to build reliable systems that handle partial failures gracefully.
- Passion for building AI systems that perform real actions with auditability and trustworthiness.
