Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor (AI-Powered) role based in Delhi, India. The selected candidate will edit and produce video content for news analysis, interviews, and inspirational stories, using both traditional tools and AI-powered editing solutions. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, structuring narratives, applying transitions and effects, and integrating graphics and motion elements aligned with the brand’s style. The role also involves collaborating with editors, writers, and social media teams to adapt videos for different platforms, optimizing formats and durations. The candidate will be expected to manage timelines, maintain organized project files, and continuously explore AI tools to improve quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including managing footage, timelines, and sound.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools and popular editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalents).
- Attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and a strong sense of pacing for news and interview formats.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Relevant coursework or training in media, film, communication, or a related field; prior internship or project experience in video content creation is an advantage.
