The role involves troubleshooting software/application issues, network connectivity, client-server communication and basic system-related problems. The candidate will work closely with customers and our technical/development team to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:-
Network Support
- Check IP address, port connectivity and network configuration.
- Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, routing and firewall-related basic issues.
- Perform connectivity testing using tools such as ping, telnet, etc.
- Assist customers with server/client connectivity issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot communication between client applications and servers.
- Coordinate with customers' network/IT teams when required.
Application Support
- Provide technical support for installed software applications.
- Troubleshoot application errors and configuration issues.
- Assist customers with installation, configuration and software updates.
- Understand customer problems and provide timely solutions.
- Coordinate with the development team for application-related issues.
Customer Support
- Handle customer queries through phone, remote-support, email and chat tools.
- Explain technical solutions clearly to customers.
- Escalate complex application or network issues to the appropriate technical team.
- Follow up until the issue is resolved.
Required Skills
- Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Windows and Linux.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, IP address, ports, DNS and networking fundamentals.
- Basic troubleshooting using ping, telnet, tracert/traceroute, etc.
- Basic knowledge of software installation and configuration.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Advantage / Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of NSE/BSE/MCX connectivity
- Understanding of market data feeds
- TCP/UDP basics
- Multicast basics
- Firewall and port configuration
- Database/SQL basics
- Knowledge of stock-market/trading applications
