Role Description The Video Editor - Onsite role at Gencosys is a full-time position based in Indira Nagar, Lucknow. The person in this role will edit and assemble raw video footage into polished content, including corporate videos, social media assets, product demos, and marketing materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include trimming clips, adding transitions, sound syncing, basic color correction, and incorporating motion graphics or text overlays as needed. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and technical teams to understand project requirements, maintain brand consistency, and meet deadlines. The role requires working on-site to participate in team reviews, provide feedback on concepts, and ensure smooth coordination during production and post-production.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills for creating high-quality visual content.
- Proficiency in video color grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual tone.
- Ability to design and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, sound design basics, and composition.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
