Role Description The Video Editor role at Vidhike is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The Video Editor will organize and edit raw footage for YouTube documentaries, podcasts, UGC ads, and social media content, ensuring cohesive storytelling and high production quality. Daily responsibilities include trimming and assembling clips, adding transitions, titles, and sound effects, as well as performing basic color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency. The role involves collaborating with directors, content strategists, and motion designers to integrate motion graphics and visual elements that align with brand guidelines. The Video Editor will also manage project files, maintain an efficient workflow, and deliver exports optimized for multiple digital platforms within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including managing timelines, audio, and multi-format footage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and quality across different types of content.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging visual elements, overlays, and basic animations.
- Candidates should have proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with motion tools such as After Effects or similar.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong storytelling instincts, and the ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback constructively.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
