Role Description The Video Editor internship at Protrainy is an on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will support the production of educational and promotional video content, including editing raw footage, organizing media assets, and ensuring alignment with Protrainy’s brand and learning objectives. Daily tasks include trimming and assembling clips, applying transitions and basic effects, synchronizing audio, adding text overlays, and preparing final output for various digital platforms. The intern will collaborate with trainers, instructors, and the marketing team to transform recorded sessions and concept explanations into engaging, learner-friendly videos. This internship offers hands-on experience in the e-learning domain and exposure to video workflows tailored for technical education.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in core Video Production and Video Editing to create clear, structured, and engaging content from raw footage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of learning materials.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design simple animations, titles, and visual elements that support educational explanations.
- Familiarity with common editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (such as After Effects or Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and feedback from multiple stakeholders are important.
- Interest in e-learning or technical education, and basic understanding of civil engineering concepts, is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Relevant coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio showcasing video and motion work will be viewed favorably.
