Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kolkata. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for marketing, social media, training, and branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s professional and client-focused image. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting impactful clips, syncing audio, adding transitions, titles, graphics, and motion elements, and applying basic color correction and grading. The role involves collaborating with content, marketing, and consulting teams to understand project objectives, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering videos within agreed timelines. The Video Editor will also organize media assets, manage project files, and contribute creative ideas to improve visual storytelling and engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for professional, client-facing content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and appealing aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and animations.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is beneficial.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, timing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, multimedia, design, or a related field is an advantage; prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
